Announcement of the Biostats 801 course

Please find below an outline of the Veterinary Biostatistics course
VHM-8010-1 for the Fall Semester 2024.

Based on the current recommendations from UPEI, the plan is for a
course with all sessions conducted in-person. Plans may be revised
at any time as necessary based on recommendations from UPEI and
the Public Health Office of PEI.

To (informally) register for the course, send an e-mail with name
and affiliation to hstryhn@upei.ca (Henrik Stryhn, Dept. Health
Management). Formal registration at the Registrar's Office takes
place through the myUPEI portal.

For further information, contact the course lecturer, or consult
the course homepage (at the bottom of this message) with the most
recent and detailed information.

Note: The schedule is slightly different this year, with lab sessions
no longer on Monday afternoons (because another course had taken over
the room). Instead there will be shorter lab sessions on Friday
afternoons and optional follow-up lab reviews on Monday afternoons.
The schedule will also include a break in mid-November to
accommodate travel by the instructor.

Department of Health Management, AVC
